Access Asia, a program of the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce

Invest

Built and funded by the organizations it serves.

Access Asia is underwritten by a limited number of Greater Austin organizations who have a direct stake in what inbound investment brings to the region. Partners help shape the program, and they receive what it generates.

What this is

Not recognition. Position.

Most sponsorships put your logo on a banner. This one puts you in the room where opportunities get routed.

When our representation in Asia surfaces a company evaluating Central Texas, that lead comes back to active program coordination in Austin and goes out to partner organizations. Not to a newsletter. Not to the general membership.

That is the product. Everything else on this page is supporting detail.

What partners receive

A working position in the program.

Program leads.
Companies and agencies in Asia evaluating Central Texas are routed directly to partner organizations.
A seat at the table.
Partners sit on the steering committee, setting strategic and operational direction for where the program looks and what it prioritizes.
Direct engagement in market.
Access to our representation in Asia and to the delegations, briefings, and matchmaking the program runs.
Visibility across GAACC.
Recognition across Chamber programming, digital channels, and signature events reaching the Central Texas business community.

Partnership operates at more than one level of commitment. We will walk you through the options directly.

Active program coordination.
The Austin-side function that qualifies opportunities, manages engagement, and routes every lead back to partners.
Delegations.
Annual missions to Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and India, anchored to the events where decisions get made.
Signature programming.
Asia by Austin at SXSW, the Central Texas–Korea Summit, and reverse-pitch programming connecting Asian procurement needs to local vendors.

Who this is for

The organizations an inbound company needs first.

Access Asia partners are the firms an Asian company relies on in its first eighteen months in Central Texas:

  • Site selection and advisory
  • Property development, commercial real estate, and construction
  • Soft landing services: legal, banking, HR, accounting
  • Business development support: PR and marketing
  • Outbound business development
  • Regional economic development partners

If your organization sits in one of these categories, the program is built to send work in your direction.

Governance

Partners direct the program.

The Access Asia steering committee is composed of representatives from partner organizations. It sets strategic, tactical, and operational direction, supported by active program coordination and working in collaboration with GAACC leadership.

Working groups form as the program requires.
